　　My Two Flutes

　　I have two flutes①. One is complete and good; the other broken.Every time I see them, I can＇t help feeling sorry and thinking of my dear father.

　　I like playing the flute very much. Although I＇m busy with my studies, I try hard to find time to play it. And I believe I play it quite well. At the last New Year party I played for my class, and everyone praised my performance. I made up my mind to become an excellent flute player, so I told my father that I wanted to enter Taishan Music and Dance College to learn playing the flute, but he wouldn＇t agree.

　　In the last final examinations I got poor marks and my father was angry. Not only did he hit me, but he also broke my flute. He told me not to play the flute any more.

　　A few days later I noticed my father was no longer angry with me. He seemed to feel sorry for what he had done. Several times he wanted to have a talk with me, but I walked away, because I had not forgiven him.

　　The other day a classmate of mine told me that my father had come to the school to see me. As I was still angry with him and did not wish to see him. I asked the classmate to tell him that I was not in the classroom. 　　【寫法指要】

　　本文寫父子各自都懷有的內(nèi)疚心情：父親把兒子的笛子弄壞了，覺得對(duì)不起兒子；兒子生父親的氣，不理父親，覺得內(nèi)疚。

　　文章第一段就把作者負(fù)疚的.心理表達(dá)出來了，然后寫事情的來龍去脈。第二段寫作者的愛好和抱負(fù)；第三段寫考試的失敗和父親的不滿；第四段寫父親的內(nèi)疚和作者的抵觸情緒；第五段寫父親給兒子賠不是，兒子不理；第六段寫作者負(fù)疚的心理。從第二段到第五段每段都寫有矛盾沖突，這是這類文章的特點(diǎn)。最后一段作者沒有向同學(xué)表白什么，只是流淚。但是一切均在不言中。這種寫法耐人尋味。

　　一般格式

　　英文書信的構(gòu)成可分6個(gè)部分：

　　信頭(Heading)

　　收信人姓名及地址(inside Name and Address)

　　稱呼(Salutation)

　　信文(Body of the letter)

　　結(jié)束語(Complimentary close )

　　署名(Signature)

　　(1) 信頭(Heading)

　　信頭是指發(fā)信人的單位名稱或地址以及日期。一般情況下發(fā)信人只需把自己的地址寫(打字，手寫均可)在信的右上角，離開信紙的頂頭約1英寸，占二三行或四行均可，格式如下：

　　256 West Nanjing Street

　　Nanchang, Jiangxi Province

　　China

　　Sep. 3rd, 20xx

　　注意：寫地址的次序與中文不同，應(yīng)先寫門牌號(hào)碼街道，然后城市和國(guó)名。

　　寫日期注意下列各點(diǎn)：

　�、� 年份應(yīng)寫全，例如不能用“00”來代替“20xx”。

　�、� 月份應(yīng)寫英文名稱，除May, June, July外，可用縮寫，如：Sep., Oct.。但不要用數(shù)字來代替，如7/4/00或7, 4, 00，因?yàn)樵谟?guó)此日期代表7th April, 20xx，而在美國(guó)則代表4th July, 20xx。

　�、� 日期可用1，2，3，4…11，12…21，22…31等，也可用1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th… 11th, 21st, 22nd, 31st等。

　　日期的幾種寫法：

　　a. July 7, 1998

　　b. 1st October, 1998

　　c. 30 Nov., 1997

　　d. Sep. 3rd, 1999

　　④ 特別注意英文書信日期應(yīng)緊著寫信人地址下一行，不能像寫中文書信那樣寫在書信簽名之后，這是很多學(xué)生的常見錯(cuò)誤。

　　(2) 收信人姓名及地址(Inside Name and Address)

　　寫信人的'地址和日期寫好以后，接著就要寫收信人的姓名和地址，一般的事務(wù)信件或給較生疏的朋友的信件要寫，而在給較熟的朋友的信中則可省去。這一項(xiàng)寫在日期下一行的左上角。收信人姓名寫一行，收信人地址可分兩行或三行寫，和寫信人的地址一樣，上下可取齊，也可向右縮進(jìn)。在姓名前一般要加上稱號(hào)，稱號(hào)因人而異。

　�、賹�(duì)普通男子用Mr.；

　�、趯�(duì)未婚女子用Miss；

　　③對(duì)已婚女子用Mrs.，對(duì)婚姻狀況不明確的通常用Ms.(后跟本人姓)
